Brindaban Seva Sangham is a socio- spiritual organization in Brindaban, a vast, teeming 5,000 strong residential complex in Thane, formed with the objective of providing spiritual and social succour to the deserving and the needy. Registered in 1995 as a Public Charitable Trust, the Sangham has been actively associations in the development of spiritual values through the performance of religious / spiritual activities of festivals and other important occasions. An association formed over a decade ago by certain far sighted individuals as Brindaban Seva Sangham, the Sangham has today grown into a multi member institution with multifarious activities in its fold.

The Sangham has been regularly conducting Veda Classes, Mahanyasa Rudrabhishekam on Pradoshams, Bhajans, Rig / Yajur / Sama Upakarma, Rama Navami, Gokulashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Ashtapathi Bhajan, Mandala puja celebrations, Nakarasankeerthanams in Margazhi, Thaipoosam, etc. The Sangham has also been conducting homams such as Sudharshana Homam, Atharvasirsa Homam, Shani Peyarchi for universal prosperity and peace.

Over the last few years, as part of the Mandala Pooja Celebrations, the Sangham has also been felicitating children from child – care institutions based in and around Thane. On Tamil New Year day since 2001, the Sangham has been donating new clothes to the inmates of an old home in Panvel.

The Sangham has also donated wheel chairs to the Muscular Dystrophy Society of J.J. Hospital, Mumbai and a sewing machine to Ladies Club of Ghatkopar, Mumbai.

The Sangham has also conducted a free Cataract Dectection Camp and an Eye Camp in Collaboration with K.B.H.B. Opthalmic Hospital, Parel and Venco Opticals, Thane respectively.

PIDI ARISI THITTAM, a Community Bonding Scheme was launched by the Sangham in February 2002. The Scheme, which translates into aFISTFUL OF RICE A DAY; A STOMACHFUL FOR MANY DAYS endeavours to arrange for distribution of rice collected every month from residents in Brindaban to needy organizations in and around excellent response and the Sangham has already donated over eight tons of rice so far.

Thus apart from being a central meeting place for the advancement of religious and spiritual pursuits for residents in Brindaban, the Sangham has blossomed into a special Purpose Vehicle, in the path of enabling men, women and children who are underprivileged and needy, leads their better.
